The journey begins at Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River, followed by Gangotri, the origin of the Ganges River. From there, pilgrims proceed to Kedarnath, where the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva stands amidst the snow-capped peaks. The final destination is Badrinath, the abode of Lord Vishnu, where devotees seek blessings at the iconic Badrinath Temple. Day 1
HARIDWAR arrival
Elevation: Haridwar – 314m/ 1,030 ft
We start our trip from Haridwar. After arrival our driver will pick you from airport/railway station and drop to hotel. Later in evening our guide will brief you about your trip in detail. Overnight at a hotel with breakfast included.

Day 2
HARIDWAR – BARKOT
Distance: 160 km; Travel Time: 5‐6 hrs
Elevation: Barkot – 1,220m/4,003 ft
The drive from Haridwar to Barkot offers a scenic journey through the picturesque landscapes of Uttarakhand. The route takes you alongside the beautiful Tons River and offers glimpses of the majestic Himalayan peaks in the distance. As you approach Barkot, you'll be greeted by the serene ambiance of this quaint town, nestled amidst the mountains. BARKOT – YAMUNOTRI Day Trip

A day trip from Barkot to Yamunotri offers a spiritual and scenic journey. Starting from Barkot, you'll embark on a picturesque drive to Janki Chatti, the base point for the trek to Yamunotri. From Janki Chatti, you can either trek or hire a pony/doli or by walk to reach the sacred Yamunotri temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. The trek takes you through lush forests, gushing streams, and rustic villages, offering glimpses of the stunning Himalayan scenery along the way. After offering prayers at the temple and experiencing the serene ambiance of Yamunotri, you'll make your way back to Barkot, completing a memorable day trip filled with spirituality and natural beauty. BARKOT - HARSHIL

As you ascend towards higher altitudes, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the Himalayas and the picturesque valleys below. The route takes you alongside the glistening Bhagirathi River, offering glimpses of its pristine beauty. Upon reaching Harsil, you'll be enchanted by its serene ambiance, surrounded by towering peaks and dense forests. HARSHIL – GANGOTRI Day Trip

A day trip from Harsil to Gangotri Temple. Starting from Harsil, you'll embark on a scenic drive along the banks of the Bhagirathi River, surrounded by towering mountains and lush forests. Upon reaching Gangotri, you'll visit the revered Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga. This ancient temple, perched amidst the Himalayas, is the starting point of the holy River Ganges. Take some time to offer prayers and soak in the spiritual ambiance of this sacred place. You can also explore nearby attractions such as the Bhagirathi Shila and Pandava Gufa. We start early today as the drive is long. This route takes you alongside the glistening Bhagirathi River and offers glimpses of the majestic Mandakini River as you approach Guptkashi. Upon reaching Guptkashi, you'll be greeted by its serene ambiance and the towering presence of the surrounding mountains. Take some time to explore the town and visit the ancient temples, including the famous Vishwanath Temple. Overnight at a hotel with dinner breakfast included.

Day 7
GUPTKASHI - KEDARNATH
Distance by car: 30 km; Travel Time: 1‐2 hrs/ Distance by walk: 16 kms; Travel Time: 6-8 hrs; Elevation: Kedarnath – 3,583m/11,755 ft
We start after breakfast and embark on the journey from Guptkashi to Kedarnath. Starting from Guptkashi, you'll drive towards Gaurikund, the gateway to Kedarnath. From Gaurikund, you'll continue your journey on foot, horse, or palanquin through the rugged terrain of the Himalayas, following the ancient pilgrim trail towards Kedarnath. Along the way, you'll pass through dense forests, gushing rivers, and picturesque meadows, offering glimpses of the stunning natural beauty of the region. As you approach Kedarnath, you'll be greeted by the towering peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas and the serene ambiance of the sacred town. Upon reaching Kedarnath, you'll visit the revered Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and offer prayers at this holy pilgrimage site. Evening you can attend the aarti at temple. We will stay at Kedarnath tonight. Overnight at a hotel with dinner breakfast included.

KEDARNATH - GUPTKASH

After witnessing the holy morning and attending the aarti, take some time to explore the surroundings and soak in the spiritual ambiance of Kedarnath before beginning your return journey, carrying with you the blessings of Lord Shiva and the memories of a truly divine experience. Walk back till Gaurikund and our driver will take you from there back to Guptkashi for overnight stay. Overnight at a hotel with dinner breakfast included.

GUPTKASHI – BADRINATH
(Distance: 180 km; Travel Time: 7‐8 hrs; Elevation: Badrinath – 3,300m/10,827ft)
We start after breakfast and head towards Badrinath. After crossing the lush green forest of Chopta the route will follow course of the Alaknanda River, offering glimpses of its pristine beauty along the way. Upon reaching Badrinath, you'll be captivated by its divine ambiance, surrounded by the majestic Neelkanth Peak and the Alaknanda River. Visit the revered Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and immerse yourself in the spiritual aura of this sacred pilgrimage site. Take some time to explore the town and visit nearby attractions such as the Tapt Kund and the last village Mana. You can attend the evening aarti. Overnight at a hotel with dinner breakfast included.

BADRINATH - RUDRAPRAYAG
Distance: 151km; Travel Time: 5‐7 hrs; Elevation Rudraprayag- 895m/2,936ft
Starting from Badrinath, you'll descend from the high-altitude town, enjoying panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks and pristine valleys along the way. The route takes you alongside the glistening Alaknanda River, as it carves its way through the rugged terrain of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Rudraprayag, you'll be greeted by the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, a sacred site revered by pilgrims. We will transit in Rudrprayag and call the day here. Can visit the holy confluence of two rivers if the time allows. Overnight at a hotel with dinner breakfast included.

RUDRAPRAYAG - RISHIKESH

Today is our last day of trip we will start our drive after breakfast and head towards Rishikesh our last destination. Descending from the mountains, you'll witness panoramic views of lush valleys and meandering rivers along the way. As you approach Rishikesh, the spiritual energy of the region becomes palpable, welcoming you to the Yoga Capital of the World. Explore the vibrant streets, visit ancient temples, and immerse yourself in the serene ambiance of the Ganges River. Whether you seek adventure or relaxation, Rishikesh offers a myriad of experiences to suit every traveller. You can visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram for attending the Ganga aarti in the evening.
