Day 1
CHANDIGARH - NARKANDA
Distance: 170 km Travel Time: 5‐7 hrs
Elevation: Narkanda – 2,708m/ 8,885 ft
We start our trip from Chandigarh airport and drive straight to Narkanda near Shimla for overnight stay. Overnight at a Hotel with breakfast and dinner included.

Day 2
NARKANDA – RAKCHAM
Distance: 174 km Travel Time: 6‐7 hrs
Elevation: Rakcham – 3,662m/12,010 ft
We start after breakfast from Narkanda and enter Kinnaur district. Most of our journey today we will drive along Sutlej River. This stretch is also famous for cliff hanger road with a straight drop up to 2000 feet. Arrive Rakcham in Baspa valley by evening to stay in a camp in the middle of valley. Overnight at a Camp with dinner breakfast included.

Day 3
RAKCHAM - KALPA
Distance: 80Kms; Travel time 3-4 hrs
Elevation- Chitkul- 3,450m/ 11,320ft, Kalpa – 2,960m/9,710ft
A memorable beautiful drive, weaving through forested slopes, this whole stretch of the valley is a sight to behold. Known predominantly for its agriculture, almost every household owns huge fields with cultivations of apples, pears, walnuts, apricots or potatoes. Legend has it that Kalpa was the winter home of Lord Shiva, a remarkable abode, with enthrallingly majestic views of the Kinner - Kailash Mountain and Jorkandan peaks looming right above the village. We will start our day with visiting Chitkul the last village of Baspa valley. After a brief stop for photography, we will head towards Kalpa for overnight stay. Overnight at Hotel with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 4
KALPA - NAKO - TABO
Distance: 178km total; Travel Time:5‐6 hrs
Elevation: Nako- 3,625m/11,893ft, Tabo – 3,050m/10,010ft
We start after breakfast and enter Spiti valley at Sumdo village check post, after we take a little detour to visit the monastery at Giu, to see the 500+ year old Mummy, and then on to Tabo, second largest settlement in the Spiti Valley, known for its 1000-year-old Monastery which is now a UNESCO world heritage site. Evening can be spent exploring the small town of Tabo by walk. Overnight at a hotel with dinner breakfast included.

Day 5
TABO - DHANKAR – KAZA
Distance: 65km; Travel Time:2‐3 hrs
Elevation: Dhankar – 3,894m/12,776 ft, Kaza – 3,650m/ 11,980ft
After breakfast we start our drive and visit Dhankar, perched high above the confluence of the Spiti and Pin River, in a hidden bowl, a 1200-year-old Gompa. If all the people are interested, can do a 2-3 hour hike up to Dhankar lake before we return. We arrive at Kaza, the largest town and district headquarters for Spiti Valley which will be our base for the next couple of nights. Overnight at a hotel with dinner breakfast included.

Day 6
KAZA
Altitude: Kibber - 42270m/14,10ft, Key - 4166m/13,668 ft
Today we will explore places around Kaza after breakfast we head towards Kibber and Key and visit some of the Monasteries. We also visit Checham suspension bridge built on a deep gorge near Kibber village, the highest suspension bridge in Asia. Later in day we will visit Komic village with highest post office in world, you can also buy and send postcards from here. Last, we will do Lanza village and back to kaza for overnight stay. Overnight at a hotel with dinner breakfast included.

Day 7
KAZA – KUNZUM – CHANDRATAAL
Distance: 76km / 21km –97km, Travel Time: 4-6 hrs
Elevation: Kunzum– 4,551 m/14,931 ft, Chandrataal– 4,250 mts/13,944 ft
We start after breakfast towards Kaza – Manali road crossing few small beautiful villages. After the last village of Spiti on this road we start to climb to reach Kunzum pass, from here Spiti ends and region of Lahaul starts. After spending few minutes on pass and visiting the temple of Kunzum we start to descend and take a detour on the dirt track to Chandrataal, a hard drive to the most pristine and beautiful of locations in these ranges. Chandrtaal or Moon lake got its name from its crescent like shape and lies on Samudra Tapu plateau. A small hike up the lake and one can witness Samudra Tapu glacier in distance. Evening we will sleep in camping few kilometres before Chandrtaal. Overnight at camp with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 1
CHANDRATAAL – MANALI
Distance: 111 km: 5‐7 hrs; Elevation: Manali- 2,050m/6,726ft
We start after breakfast and head towards Manali. The road condition on this stretch will be rough with few water crossings but you will witness some amazing landscapes. Most of the route passes between the high mountain ranges and glaciers making it a very beautiful and mesmerising stretch to cross. We will finally touch the Manali- Leh highway at Koksar village and head towards Atal tunnel, build recently for alternate to Rohtang pass. It is world's longest tunnel at Highest altitude measuring 9.2 kilometres and connects Lahaul and Kullu valley. We will reach Manali by evening for overnight stay. Overnight at hotel with breakfast included.

Day 9
MANALI
Manali, at the northern end of Kulu valley, is a beautiful Himalayan hill station with an unbeatable location. The river Beas meanders through the town, surrounded by deodar and pine trees, tiny fields, fruit orchards and grassy meadows carpeted with wildflowers which give way to stunning views of lofty snow‐capped peaks. The friendly people of this area are famous for their unique style of dress, including men’s pill‐box caps with colorful geometric embroidery. We can either relax or go for local sightseeing around. Overnight at hotel with breakfast included.

MANALI – CHANDIGARH
Distance: 271 km, Travel Time: 6‐8 hrs
