Day 1
Arrival in Srinagar
Elevation: Srinagar – 1,585 meters / 5,200 feet
Arrival in Srinagar the capital of Kashmir valley. Kashmir is famous for its landscapes, lakes, valleys, treks, Handicrafts, food and many more things. On arrival our driver will pick you up and take you to Houseboat for overnight stay. Overnight at a houseboat with breakfast and dinner included. -
Day 2
Srinagar - Gulmarg
Distance: 55km; Travel Time:- 2‐3 hrsElevation: Gulmarg– 2,690 meters / 8,825 feet
Today you will drive to Gulmarg for overnight stay. Gulmarg is cup shaped valley situated in Pir Panjal range of Himalayas. It is surrounded by Lofty Himalyan peaks, Meadows of flowers, evergreen forested valley and deep ravines. It has world’s second highest Gondola ride. If you want, we can arrange for tickets of Gondola ride for you. Evening can be spent exploring the meadow by walk. Overnight at a hotel with breakfast and dinner included. -
Day 3
GULMARG - SRINAGAR
Distance: 55km; Travel Time:2‐3 hrs Elevation: Srinagar – 1,585 meters / 5,200 feet
We start after breakfast and head towards Srinagar for night stay. We will be staying at a hotel tonight. Overnight at a hotel with breakfast and dinner included. -
Day 4
SRINAGAR- PAHALGAM
Distance: 94km; Travel Time:3‐4 hrs Elevation: Pahalgam – 2,740 meters / 8,990 feet
Today you will drive to Pahalgam from Srinagar for overnight stay there. It is not a big drive but due to peak tourist season you might take some time. Pahalgam is best known for its awe-inspiring vistas, lush green meadows, dense forests, and pristine waters. The place is also noted for the annual pilgrimage to the shrine Amarnath Yatra that starts here in July and August. The name Pahalgam literally means a village of shepherds in the Kashmiri language. After arriving we check in to hotel. Evening can be spent exploring town, local café and river side area by foot as it is a very small town. Also you can visit Aru valley and Betab valley nearby. Overnight at a hotel with breakfast and dinner included. -
Day 5
PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR
Distance: 94km; Travel Time:3‐4 hrs Elevation: Srinagar – 1,585 meters / 5,200 feet
You will start after breakfast and come back to Srinagar for overnight stay at hotel. Depending on When you reach Srinagar you will do some local sightseeing like visiting Mughal gardens, Pari Mahal etc. This day driver will be the best person to tell you what to see in city depending on time of your arrival and what can be done in that time. Overnight at a hotel with breakfast and dinner included. -
Day 6
SRINAGAR – SONAMARG
Distance: 80km; Travel Time:2‐3 hrs Elevation: Sonamarg – 2,800 meters / 9,186 feet
After breakfast you will leave for Sonamarg our last destination of trip for overnight stay. The word Sonamarg literally means a meadow of gold. It is named such because the peaks surrounding the town start to appear golden, due to the light of the setting sun. It is surrounded by Alpine meadows and beautiful landscapes. You can walk to river side and on the surrounding meadows. It is also base camp for many treks to Glaciers and lakes around which are open in peak summer season. You can also enjoy horse riding to Thajiwas Glacier point. Overnight at a hotel with breakfast and dinner included. -
Day 7
SONAMARG - SRINAGAR
Distance: 80km; Travel Time: 2‐3 hrs Srinagar – 1,585 meters / 5,200 feet
After having a relaxed morning and breakfast in Sonamarg we drive back to Srinagar. Your hotel is situated in Dal Lake area of Srinagar which is a prime tourist spot. Evening can be spent in exploring the dal lake side by foot. Can also do some shopping if you like or just sit by lake side. Overnight at a hotel with breakfast and dinner included. -
Day 8
SRINAGAR LOCAL
Srinagar – 1,585 meters / 5,200 feet
Last day of our trip, today we will keep the day light with some local sightseeing like Shankaracharya temple, Visit to local market, Mughal Garden and other attraction in city depending on your interest. Overnight at a hotel with breakfast and dinner included. -
Day 9
SRINAGAR Fly Out
You will leave hotel after breakfast and head to airport to catch flight back to home. Our driver will drop you to airport. Trip terminates.
